Volvo car, the producer of Volvo passenger vehicles, is a Chinese company and shall not be confused with the company Volvo Group (AB Volvo), the Swedish-owned manufacturer of heavy trucks, buses, and construction equipment. In 2010, the Chinese company Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd (ZGH), commonly known as Geely, bought Volvo Cars.
